Lush Bath Bomb Review – Star Dust

Hello again Lovelies!

As I mentioned in yesterdays post, I’m going to be writing a Lush review each day for about 8 days or so. So onto number 2!

This next Bath bomb is called Star Dust. You may notice a slight pattern over the next couple of days, the majority of the bath bombs I’ve purchased are all Christmas ones! I just love Christmas ok!? 🙂

As the name suggests this bath bomb is in the shape of a star. First impressions weren’t amazing as it’s just a standard white star. However looks can be deceiving!

This bath bomb smells of sweet vanilla, on the website it says that it contains Rosewood and Bergamot oil. I can’t really distinguish these smells however I believe they help to balance the bath bomb from being too overpowering from the vanilla.
When dropped into the water this bath bomb did surprise me. I was expecting it to slowly fizz and leave my water a murky white. Instead it fizzed away quickly and released a beautiful blue stream which also contained different coloured stars!

Floating around in my bath I had blue, yellow and green stars. These weren’t any old stars though! I experimented with one out of the water. They felt really soft as though they were some type of coco butter or oil perhaps? And I believe this is what made my skin feel really soft afterwards.

Overall I would definitely buy this bath bomb again. Although it doesn’t look like much from the first impression when this is in the bath it’s a whole different ball game.

Have you tried this bath bomb? If so what did you think?

Thanks for stopping by
