That time of the year is upon us again, Holiday Time!!
I was packing my suitcase earlier and realised that I have a lot of Essential Beauty and Toiletries that I take away with me.
I want to share these with you as maybe you are going away soon and need some new Beauty Items for your holiday too, if that is the case I hope this helps.
A waterproof mascara for me is a must for holiday, especially when I am going in the sea. Also I tend to find that when it’s humid my mascara tends to run down my face!
I love painting my nails before holiday. I picked this shade due to the fact that it’s neutral and will therefore go with a lot of different outfits. This is Barry M- Shade Pit Stop. I would describe it as a mushroom colour with pigments of purple. It’s also really fast drying.
My favourite haircare products :). I always take batiste dry shampoo away with me as not everyday when I’m on holiday do I wash my hair but I will substitute it by using this.
Aussie Beach Mate conditioner, the smell of this is heavenly!! I only ever use this when on holiday, and for this reason whenever I smell it, it reminds me of the beach.
Dove shampoo, As I said in my February Favourite’s post this is my favourite shampoo as it makes my hair really soft and manageable, as I’m going to be spending time in the sea and sun this helps to keep it tangle free.
Hawaiian Tropic SPF 50, Since getting sun damage on my face (You can read about that here) I always use a SPF 50 on my face, I have never actually tried the Hawaiian Tropic range but believe it is very good.
Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun, I wouldn’t really say this is essential as I don’t really tan so therefore I don’t need to use aftersun, but it’s coming along with me just incase :).
Malibu SPF 15, I used this brand of sun cream last year, as my body doesn’t burn as much as my face I can use a lower SPF. I like how fast drying this sun cream is.
Soltan SPF 30 Stick, because lips needs protecting from the sun too.
The smell of this shower gel is very holiday scented (if that makes sense? haha) so of course I had to buy it.
And plain old deodorant but it’s very much needed :).
Soap and Glory Perfume, Although I probably won’t use this during the day (don’t want to attract bees and wasps now?!) I will spritz some on at night time when going out for a meal.
Soap and Glory Body Mist, this isn’t as strong as perfume so this can be worn throughout the day.
Yes yes I know I’m going to have sea salt hair anyway! But sometimes if I’ve been in the sea all’s I want to do is have a shower and feel clean again, especially if I’m going to be dressing nice for a meal perhaps. In them circumstances I can still have clean hair but look as though I’ve got them beach waves :).
V05 Smoothly does it, speaks for itself really.
Malibu SPF 20, this is left over from last year so I may as well take it with me and finish this bottle off, waste not and all that jazz.
Colgate Toothpaste….. For a minty fresh smile :D.
Salon Science Smoothing Serum, I have not yet tried this product but I figured my hair will need some TLC after being in the sea and heat.
Soap and Glory Scrub, scrubs are something I always take away with me, I want my skin to feel soft especially as i’m going to be having more skin on show than normal (If the weather is good that is).
Bic Razors, because I don’t want to look like a gorilla on holiday now do I?
Along came betty, say you scrub me, another scrub because the soap and glory one is only travel sized and may only last about a week, as i’m going away for 2 weeks I will need a back up.
I had these in my Latest In Beauty Dream Box.
Firstly is the Rouge Edition Velvet Lipgloss, this looks lovely with a tan.
Sass Perfect Skin Concentrate, I haven’t yet used this but I believe you apply It after shaving and it helps to prevent ingrown hairs and reduce hair growth.
Orelia Metallic Tattoos, again I’ve never tried metallic tattoos but I think they look stunning.
I’m sure when I am completely finished packing I’ll find more stuff that I usually take with me, but for now this is the majority of it.
